Fulham v Newcastle live: score, updates and line-ups

Full time: Fulham 1-1 Newcastle United. Murphy's superb strike from outside the box looked set to settle it in the 80th minute, but substitute Muniz levelled things up soon after to ensure the points were shared at Craven Cottage. There was late drama in eight added minutes, with Sessegnon forcing a save from Hornícek and yellow cards shown to Schär and Dedic, but neither side could find a winner. A fair result in the end, with Fulham edging possession and shots while Newcastle matched them for quality on the night.

Fulham are level almost immediately! Rodrigo Muniz, on as a substitute, finishes from the left side of the six-yard box to make it 1-1 just three minutes after Newcastle had taken the lead through Murphy.

Newcastle break the deadlock in the 80th minute - Jacob Murphy drills home a left-footed effort from outside the box to put the visitors ahead at Craven Cottage, 0-1.

Still 0-0 at Craven Cottage with Newcastle looking a little more threatening after their changes - Fernandez-Pardo headed just too high from Murphy's cross shortly after coming on. Fulham remain ahead in possession but Newcastle have drawn level on shots and are now creating as much as the home side. Both sides have made changes seeking a breakthrough, with Palacios replacing the injured King at Fulham and Fernandez-Pardo coming on for Steur at Newcastle.

Still deadlocked at Craven Cottage as both sides make changes. Wissa had an awkward angled effort before being withdrawn by Newcastle, who have since freshened things up with Willock and Miley replacing Wissa and González, while Fulham brought on Muniz for García. Fulham remain on top in possession and shots, but fouls have increased for both sides as they look to break up the home side's rhythm with the game still goalless.

Still goalless at Craven Cottage with Fulham continuing to control possession and the overall run of play. Barnes had a chance early in the half that came close but went just wide, while Berge tried his luck from distance for Fulham but couldn't trouble Hornícek. Newcastle's fouls have crept up again as they try to stem the home side's dominance, and there was a brief stoppage for a knock to Steur. The scoreline remains unchanged.

Second half under way at Craven Cottage with the pattern unchanged so far - Fulham still holding the lion's share of possession and the overall edge in shots and corners from the first period. Nothing has happened yet to break the deadlock, with the stats barely moved since half time and the score still 0-0.

Fulham continue to enjoy the lion's share of possession at Craven Cottage, and Josh King tested Newcastle with a well-struck effort from outside the box that was saved. Newcastle did have their own moment, with Harvey Barnes forcing Leno into a save from a shot assisted by Osula, but it's been a scrappy passage of play with plenty of free-kicks conceded, most by Newcastle. Still goalless as the half heads towards its final stages.

Fulham have continued to dominate the ball, now up to nearly 64% possession, and remain goalless at the break of this spell. Leno made a good save to deny Harvey Barnes after Murphy's cross, but it's Fulham who've had the better of the chances - Bobb saw a shot blocked after a headed pass from Charles. Newcastle are picking up a few more fouls as they try to contain the home side's pressure, though the scoreline is still level at Craven Cottage.

Fulham have edged in front in this spell without quite breaking the deadlock. Gonzalo García crashed a header against the bar from a corner, and Bobb then forced Hornícek into a save, giving the hosts a 2-0 shots count and a slight edge in possession. Newcastle have had to defend a bit more, though they've still had a corner of their own, and the game remains goalless at Craven Cottage.

A fairly even start at Craven Cottage with neither side able to carve out a clear opening yet. Fulham have shaded possession slightly and forced an early corner, while Newcastle have had joy from a corner of their own and seen Thiaw flagged offside. Robinson's free-kick on the left after Wissa's foul is the latest small flashpoint, but shots and saves remain blank for both sides.
